Meet the Proprietors

Beverly and Larry became owners of the inn in March of 2021. Since then, they’ve been building their dream of creating a luxury lodging and dining destination location in the Moosehead Lake region.

Both Bev and Larry lived in Rhode Island for over 20 years and have family in Maine. Beverly began her career as a Neurosurgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse and spent time as President of a nonprofit educational organization, business owner, and chairperson of a multi-million dollar green building campaign. During her time at both with these organizations, she handled triaging, strategic planning, staff management, budgeting, event planning, fundraising, and a host of other skills that transfer easily to inn ownership. She’s highly organized, enjoys gardening, decorating, antiquing, and photography in her free time.

Larry was a business analyst at a Fortune 7 company for over 30 years. Looking for a change from the stress of corporate life, he was sold on inn ownership, and they began an earnest search for the perfect inn.  His days as a business analyst are behind him, but Larry still engages in the corporate world on a consultative basis. In his free time Larry enjoys hiking and hopes to spend some time woodworking around the inn.

Bev and Larry have 3 children. The oldest lives in Vermont, the middle and youngest child are United States Marines. They have a rescued dog named Lily whom you will often see out on the hiking trails with Larry.
