International Seaplane Fly-In 2021, Moosehead Lake’s most highly anticipated, annual event, is just weeks away – and you’re invited! The celebration sees hundreds of seaplanes, thousands of spectators, and no end to the activities and events. September 9th through the 12th, 2021 in Greenville, ME.
There are already abundant reasons to visit gorgeous Moosehead Lake. The area’s endless, natural beauty provides for fantastic hiking, fishing, boating, wildlife spotting, and so much more.
The International Seaplane Fly-In ups the ante every September, the weekend after Labor Day, with hundreds of seaplanes converging on Moosehead Lake. The event includes seaplane runs and contests, live music, delicious food and drink, a weekend craft fair, and more!
One of the most popular events are the Stobie Hangar Contests. These challenges see pilots competing with spot landings, short field takeoffs, and even water bombings. Great fun for pilots and spectators!
Fly-In 2021 sees the addition of a new event to the already fun-filled roster: a Float Plane Parade! Come watch as the proud pilots parade their planes past the shore for all to see.
The annual Craft Fair is a great place to find one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts. It’s an excellent opportunity to get some early holiday shopping in.
